A long time since my last post , the main reason like many others, is that nothing much has happened and with the restrictions on travelling etc, the only thing I have been doing apart from the usual household chores is cycling. Thankfully there are no restrictions on how far you can cycle, but at the moment you are allowed to cycle with one other person. Last week my mileage was over 200 miles, luckily we are blessed with fantastic cycling country right on our doorstep.
This is a local cycle trail "The Lady Windsor" and is on an old railway line going to and from what was The Lady Windsor colliery.
These are the views from my lunch stop. As cafe's are only open for takeaways a flask of coffee and a sandwich goes with me on the ride. Whilst I was choosing my picnic spot a passing motorist stopped and asked if I was ok as he thought I had come off on the descent. A nice gesture.
